Sakana Coloured Gravel is the perfect substrate to brighten up your home aquarium or outdoor displays. With a ranging diameter of 3mm-8mm, this aquatic gravel is completely safe and available in multiple colours. It is recommended to rinse the gravel down thoroughly before placing into your tank/aquarium. It can also be used to brighten up your garden plant pots or planters. All available sizes are supplied in a clear and reusable tub which are simple to carry and store away.
How much gravel would you need? To calculate how much gravel you would need for an average 2-Inch depth in your tank follow these three simple steps.
Multiply the LENGTH of the tank by the WIDTH of the tank – E.g, 22 Inches x 20 Inches = 440 Inches.
Next, divide your answer by 10 – E.g, 440 / 10 = 44
Finally, convert your answer into kilograms (kg) to work out how much gravel you would need (divide by 2.2) – E.g, 44 / 2.2 = 20kg!

The gravel may have a chemical smell upon delivery. This is due to the dyes used within the stones. This product is perfectly safe to use once pre-washed before adding to your fish tank or aquarium.
