Escallonia Crimson Spire

Description

A vigorous grower with dense glossy foliage all year round. The Escallonia ‘Crimson Spire’ is named after its upright growth and its lovely bright red, tube-shaped flowers which appear from Summer and last right through to the autumn, adding a touch of colour to the dark green foliage beneath. A great option for informal hedging and suitable for coastal planting.

Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep in full sun in a sheltered position to protect from cold, drying winds.
