For outdoor sowingWhen March to In a prepared seed bed in growing position or directly into large Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops, sow every 2-3 weeks. Protect early sowings with cloches. Seedlings appear 7-14 For baby leaves no thinning is required. For mature plants, when large enough thin to 20cm apart. Ensure plants are well watered and do not dry April to November. Pick individual baby leaves as required, the plants will regrow for 3-4 cuts or harvest whole mature plants as required.
Easy to grow and packed with goodness and great taste. Use as baby salad leaf, as a delicious garnish or let them mature for a more peppery flavour.
