This variety has large orange-scarlet flowers with a black eye. It has a compact habit and strong flower stems. It flowers from May to June, and is easy to grow from seed.

Sow the seed from April through to early summer in a cold frame or cold greenhouse. The germination takes about 2 weeks and the seeds are then ready to transplant a few weeks later.
