Description
The Salix gracilistyla ‘Mount Aso’ is a deciduous tree more commonly known as a Japanese Pink Pussy Willow. This variety has silver foliage and masses of fluffy pink catkins in Winter/Spring. These catkins look their best in the Winter, as they start to swell which makes for a very eye-catching feature for any garden. The Salix gracilistyla ‘Mount Aso’ is hardy and will thrive in most soil types. The Japanese Pink Pussy Willow is best planted in a full sun or partially shaded location.
