Description
Sow the seeds directly outdoors from April-June in a well-prepared, well-drained seedbed.
Sow the seeds thinly on the soil surface and lightly cover with a fine layer of compost or soil.
Keep the soil consistently moist until seedlings emerge.
Seeds will usually germinate within 10-21 days, depending on conditions.
Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 20-25 cm apart to allow room for growth.
Water regularly during dry spells until established, but avoid waterlogging.
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming throughout the season.
