Description
The heavily scented, large, satiny, darm red guard petals surround a neat inner boss of lacy-edged, cerise staminoides that are lined with gold and stand upright as the flower ages. Sometimes a further tuft of red petals may appear in the centre. Green upright stems bear dark green leaves.
