Description
With thick, water storing roots Asparagus falcatus can handle a chilly damp windowsill or draughty corner, making it a perfect species to tolerate the colder seasons. As the plant matures, its soft, grass-like stems will cascade downwards and develop small thorns.
WATERING
In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%. Mist often.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a house plant fertiliser every month between April – September.
REPOTTING
Repot every year when young, and then only when roots emerge from the drainage holes.
