Astrantia Roma

Description

A versatile herbaceous perennial with beautiful, delicate blooms notable for their interesting shape and vibrant colour. The Astrantia ‘Roma’ is a variety of Masterwort and a great choice for Summer displays. The foliage is mid-to-dark green and deeply lobed with compact, branching stems rising above which carry domed panicles of tiny, deep pink florets Surrounded by similarly coloured narrow bracts to provide a vibrant and exotic look.

Plant in moist, humus-rich, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full or partial sun in a sheltered position. Tolerates drier soils and conditions once established but does not tolerate drought conditions.
