Description
Outstanding, reliable old variety with long, good coloured stems. Easy to grow, trouble free and long cropping period. flourishes in an open sunny position, with deep fertile soil. Mulch every winter with a good, thick layer of well rotted compost, and apply a general fertiliser in the spring. Do not allow to flower unless seed is wanted as this affects next year’s crop. Plant 90cm – 1.2m (3 – 4ft) apart.
