Description
Rubus idaeus ‘Malling Promise’ is an early cropping Raspberry-producing variety, these canes have bright green leaves that show all through spring and summer. The stems of this deciduous plant are thorny and the rosy-red fruit it yields is firm, with a medium flavour, excellent for using in jams and desserts. This fruit-bearing bush is really easy to grow and harvest, it can be placed anywhere in the garden, while being extremely hardy it is very tolerant of poor soils, it is also very resistant to viruses. Raspberries will ripen and be ready for picking in early June and can be harvested right through till the end of July.
