Description
Water Avens Geum
Water Avens is a medium sized perennial with pale purple, bell-shaped flowers, which emerge from April to September. The fruit develops with reddish brown hooks. It grows well in semi-shaded areas which are occasionally disturbed. This plant is usually found in wet soils such as beside streams, ponds and damp woodland.
Best sown in the autumn.
