Containing a combination of insects, seed, and suet fat, these balls are delicious to a variety of birdlife, many of which are common to UK gardens, from robins and blackbirds to tree sparrows and woodpeckers.
Suet balls provide these birds with a high energy feed, which is much-needed during times of the year when natural food is harder to come by, such as the breeding season and the colder winter months.
Each ball is made from 25% suet and natural oils, plus a tasty mix of seeds, peanut flour, dried mealworm and wheat flour. These balls will not only attract a wide range of small seed-eating birds, but insectivores too.
Many birds will be attracted to these suet balls, including thrushes, robins, starlings, sparrows, finches, buntings, tits, blackbirds, chaffinces, doves, nuthatchs, robins, spotted woodpeckers, wrens, dunnocks, blackcaps and siskins.
Always ensure fresh water is available when feeding suet balls to the birds.
