Description

The Ananas genus is responsible for the very unique and memorable indoor plant that is the Ananas Amigo. More commonly known as the Pineapple Plant, its unique addition comes in the form of a small pineapple placed at the very peak of the plants foliage. This feature, along with the gorgeous, unfurling leaves makes this plant stand out from other indoor plants, as many do not have this level of uniqueness about them. The plant will purify the air around it by removing harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the area ensuring a fresh and clean atmosphere. You should place the plant in bright, indirect light to achieve great growth and progression from the plants evergreen foliage. Then, water the plant when the top soil is dry to touch, with Summer months being the time when you carry this out more; less-so during Wintertime.
