Growing Instructions
Sow from late spring to early autumn. Optimum germination temp 18c.
Can be sown undercover in plugs for earliest harvest.
Sow finely in seeds every 2-3 weeks for a continuous harvest.
Space the initial planting very densely, then harvest entire plants, leaving the strongest to grow to maturity at about 25cm (12in) spacing.
Sow very close together for baby leaf production.
Germination takes 5-15 days dependent on soil temperature.
Tatsoi needs a rich soil and plenty of moisture all through the growing season. Although they do better in cool weather, Tatsoi is one of the last to bolt during hotter periods.
Harvest from 21-28 days for baby-leaf & 45-50 days to maturity.
