Description
A new breed of the popular Chilean native evergreen shrub. Crinodendron ‘Alf Robbins’ is a rather slow growing variety carrying incised dark green leaves and lovely pure white flowers which droop beneath the foliage, giving it the common name of Lantern Tree. The blooms emerge around mid-Spring and last well into the Summer months.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil, preferably somewhat acidic soil to bring out the best of the flowers. Keep roots shaded and sheltered from heat and cold alike.
