Description
Ornamental Bananas will bring a stunning tropical look to your garden with their enormous, lush leaves. These plants wont produce fruit, but they will look incredible. Theyre frost hardy to -5C, but will all regrow from the ground in spring if they get too cold.
This Architectural Banana Collection includes three established plants in 9cm pots, each standing approximately 22-40cm tall, including one each of the following varieties:
Japanese Banana (Musa basjoo): The largest ornamental banana with huge, fan-like green leaves. Red Abyssinian Banana (Ensete ventricosum ‘Maurelii’): Lovely purple stems and red-purple leaf veins and edges. Golden Lotus Banana (Musella lasiocarpa): Fabulous paddle-shaped leaves and striking yellow flowers that can last six months.
