Ilex ‘Golden King’ is a tree that will thrive all-year-round. They show off great colours throughout the year, with the olive-green colouring, joined by the yellow margins of the foliage. It will then be topped off at the end of the calendar year in Autumn when the tree forms red fruiting. Potting this tree will make it stand out, perhaps being most effective positioned on your garden patio for visitors to see as they walk by.

These evergreen trees are low maintenance, fast growing specimens which thrive in moist, well-drained soils. Perfect for beginners, make sure to plant in either partial shade or full sun to ensure its best growth. Water regularly until established, then just occasionally when settled in.
