Begonia boliviensis ‘Santa Barbara’ is one of the newest begonias to be released in the Sun Cities Collection (along with ‘San Francisco’ and ‘Santa Cruz’). It has creamy to pure-white bell-shaped flowers, each with a yellow centre, emanating from attractive pinkish stems and salmon-pink buds. These flowers stand out magnificently against the plant’s slender, sharply pointed green leaves. Blooms start to appear in early summer, and continue coming until the first frosts of autumn!

The trailing habit of this boliviensis begonia means that it is designed for growing in containers – hanging baskets, windowboxes and patio pots – where it spills over the edges. Begonia boliviensis ‘Santa Barbara’ is heat- and drought-tolerant, and is perfect for giving that warm, tropical look to your garden.
