Description
Aureum, part of the shirasawanum family, is a deciduous spreading Acer shrub with a slow-growing, bushy habit. The foliage of this tree showcases attractive seasonal foliage starting with buttery-yellow leaves during spring, these eventually brighten into a bright burst of lime-green during summer, before eventually darkening to golden orange colour coupled with red margins later in the autumn.
This japanese maple prefers to be planted in full sun, but can easily adapt to a partially shaded position in your garden. Aureum can tolerate most soil types, so long as the planting area is moist, but well-drained. We would like to remind customers that the images are for illustration purposes only. Due to the deciduous nature of this plant, your tree may arrive without leaves depending on the time of year.
