Description
Dypsis lutescens. Possibly the most iconic plant of the ‘70s that made its way into fashion photoshoots, cult gangster films and opulent houses of the rich and famous. This palm brings stature, energy and undeniable tropical vibes.
WATERING
In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser once every 2 months from April – October.
REPOTTING
Repot when plant is crowding pot, roughly every 2-3 years. Use a well-draining houseplant compost with an added drainage medium like perlite.
