Calathea Insignis is a plant that has a very good reputation worldwide as a great houseplant. It is more commonly known as the Rattlesnake Plant and originates from South America, meaning it is very akin to places with high humidity. The green foliage of the plant is a lovely starting block for the plant to show off all its colour and vibrance. Watering the Insignis is very simple – Summer should see watering take place twice or three times each month, ensuring the soil is moist during that time. In Winter, you can reduce the amount you water the Rattlesnake Plant, just making sure the top soil is never dry to touch.
