Description
Sow seeds from May to June in modules or trays undercover.
Sow 1cm deep in moist seed compost and lightly cover.
Keep soil moist and the seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle, maintaining bright, cool conditions.
Transplant outdoors from June to early July, spacing plants 50-60 cm apart in rows 60-75 cm apart.
Water regularly and stake taller plants for support if needed.
Harvest from December to March when sprouts are firm, well-formed, and tightly closed.
