Description

Dryopteris filix-mas ‘Linearis Polydactyla’ is a bushy, deciduous, hardy fern. This male fern is unique-looking due to its narrow, sparse, mid green pinnae that gives the plant a slender and airy appearance. The pinnae will die back in Autumn, however, the remaining fronds can provide winter interest when there is frosty weather. This plant is well suited to a shaded border or container.

This fern thrives best in dappled, part or full shade in a moist, well drained, humus rich soil. Can tolerate partial or full sun if watered regularly.
