Description
Native to South Africa and Namibia, the charming Fockea edulis is a semi-deciduous caudiciform with a branching habit. Its tuberous roots are offset by vining, leafy stems which will eventually trail and climb, should you give it the chance!
WATERING
In S/S water when 90% of the soil has dried out. During the winter months allow the soil to dry out 100% watering very little every 1-2 months. Avoid watering directly onto the caudex.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year.
REPOTTING
Repotting once every 2-3 years to replenish soil. Use a cactus compost with a good mix of perlite.
