Description
Uncinia Egmontiana
From Mount Egmont in New Zealand comes the prettiest hardy red grass growable from seed. It features tight compact erect clumps of stiff arching crimson-bronze blades, from which arise narrow spikes of small, sharply pointed black seeds.
Cover the seed thinly with compost or grit in gentle heat or a warm light spot outside. Grow on individually or in clumps in 3″ pots, and then plant out in a well-drained, open position.
