Maranta leuconeura var erythroneura ‘Lemon’

Description

The velvety leaves of this Maranta are threaded with lime green veins. The Maranta is photonastic meaning it closes its leaves at night as if praying which gives it its common name ‘Prayer plant’.

WATERING

In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Indirect, shade tolerant.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser every 3-4 weeks from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every two years to give the roots more space to grow and to replenish the soil. Use a well-draining house plant compost.
