Description
Miscanthus sinensis Brazil is a compact, clump-forming, deciduous ornamental grass variety, also known as Eulalia, Chinese Silvergrass or Zebra Grass. This graceful upright and bushy architectural plant has slender, green grass blades which turn red in autumn and is joined by tall, red flower plumes in the summer. This popular, versatile grass plant is perfect to add interest and texture to borders, rockeries and to create stunning mixed container displays.
Plant in fertile, moderately moist, well drained humus-rich or sandy soil. Position in full sun or in partial shade. Lift and divide over-large clumps in early spring if necessary.
