Description
This is a vigorous, easy-to-grow variety which has a bushy, upright habit and healthy, finely-toothed, glossy, bright green disease resistant leaves. The flowers are large, loosely double, iridescent velvety purple that gently fade to slate-blue as they mature. They are cup shaped with a white centre and golden stamens. The intensely perfumed blooms appear repeatedly in clusters from July to September. This is a good rose to use in a mixed border as the colour is strong against its shrubby-like stems. Grow in sun or partial shade.
