Description

Aloe Vera or barbadensis miller is an evergreen succulent with tall, erect, fleshy green leaves made to retain water which, when cut, can be used in soothing poultices, gels and creams. It is also an ingredient in some health foods. Well suited to indoor environments due to its ease of care and growth habit. When in the sun the plant will continue to thrive, but when moved out of sufficient sunlight it will enter a dormant state and its growth will stop.

Plant in well-drained soils and water deeply every 2 weeks. Constant soil moisture will cause damage and root rot. Prefers sunny environment but will survive in any amount of sun, becoming dormant if the light is insufficient.
