Description
Strong growing, deciduous tree with an erect open habit. 1.5-2 cm single white flowers in May which are attractive to pollinating insects and followed by masses of bright yellow crab apples 2.5cm (1inch) long. These usually persist well after the leaves have fallen, making a splendid show. Fruit is excellent for jelly or wine making or for food for wildlife. Self-fertile and a good pollinator for fruiting apples.
