For outdoor sowingWhen March to May and August to In a prepared seed bed in flowering Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart. Cover lightly with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Make 2-3 sowings for a longer flowering When large enough thin to 20cm apart. Keep moist and weed June to September. Late sowings flower the following year. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
Dense flower heads of mainly double blooms above attractive ‘ferny’ foliage. Compact habit provides good weather resistance without the need for staking.
