Herb – Burnet Salad

Description

Burnet Salad is a delicate, flowering, perennial herb. Small leaflets form in a rosette-like shape, and clusters of fiery crimson flowers bloom throughout summer, through until autumn. When crushed, the green foliage emanates a light cucumber scent.

This Mediterranean native is excellent for flavouring sauces and vinegars, and the leaves are perfect for adding to salads. Burnet Salad will tolerate most soil types, as long as it is well-drained, and it will thrive best when planted in full sun.
