Description
Showy, with a compact mound of aromatic, grey-green foliage and numerous, slender, purple-black flower spikes with violet-purple flowers from June to October which are attractive to bees and butterflies. Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade in a warm position and mulch in winter to give protection. Height and spread 50cm (20ins).
