Veronica First Glory

Description

Commonly known as Tall Speedwell, Veronica First Glory is a compact perennial with mounds of long, lance-shaped leaves, yielding clusters of tiny royal blue flowers on elegant tall stems. Foliage is dark green from spring through to autumn with the flowers blooming in summer.

Veronica First Glory is ideal for flower beds, borders, rock gardens and containers. The blooms also work well for flower arranging and can be brought indoors to enjoy. Bees, butterflies and other pollinators are drawn to Speedwell.

This clump forming perennial grows well in almost any soil and, other than cutting back stems to encourage regrowth, requires little maintenance to maintain good health and an attractive appearance. The plant is fully hardy, easy to grow and will reach its ultimate height and spread within 2-5 years.
