Schefflera arboricola ‘Compacta’

Description

Scheffleras are just brilliant plants; they don’t ask for much, a little light and a little water and they will get on with things. This Dwarf Umbrella tree is fast growing and can be pruned to suit your space. Watch out for when it has new leaves, they look like tiny little green hands.

WATERING

In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%. A good tip to remember – if your plant is getting less light then it will need less water.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect. Shade tolerant.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2 years or alternatively replace the top 10cm of the soil with fresh house plant compost every year.
