Description
An excellent lime-green Heuchera with silky, deeply lobed and ruffled glowing, lime-green leaves shading to chartreuse green. This variety thrives in shady places, but unlike other lime-green Heucheras it will tolerate morning sun, but needs some shade by mid-day. In summer it produces spikes of tiny, bell-shaped, white flowers which are attractive to bees and butterflies. Evergreen in warm areas but in cold areas it will die back in the winter, putting through fresh new growth in the spring. Fast, vigorous and mound forming, this makes an excellent ground cover plant which is particularly useful to brighten up shady areas. Any damaged foliage should be trimmed off in the spring. In May and June it will produce dainty, bell shaped, white flowers on erect green stems. It will thrive in any fertile, well drained soil in full sun, part or full shade. Tolerant of full sun, but better planted in partial shade in any fertile, well drained soil. Good resistance to rabbit and deer damage. Height 25cm (10ins) Spread 63cm (25ins) Flower Height 38cm (15ins)
