Callistemon citrinus

Description

Callistemon citrinus is an evergreen, bushy garden shrub that will bring its eye-catching, fluffy, cylindrical flower heads to ensure a vibrant display. Each flower that grows bears a red colour that bursts onto the scene with great effect – this will occur between the period of Spring and Summer, with the plants lush, green foliage providing year-round interest. This plant is ideal for pots, containers, beds, borders and more and should be planted in moist, well drained soil. Regular watering should be carried out in Summer, with less needed as the year progresses and the plant should be placed in full sunlight to ensure greater long term growth.
