Description
Monstera adansonii is a brilliant choice for anyone who loves tropical houseplants but does not have space for oversized foliage. Often known as the Monkey Mask Plant, this variety boastsd the character of a Swiss Cheese Plant, but in a more compact size.
Each leaf is deep green, heart shaped and naturally perforated, creating a sculptural look that feels both exotic and contemporary. It adds texture and movement to indoor spaces without overwhelming them.
This is a climbing houseplant by nature, which is why it is supplied trained to a moss pole. That support encourages upright growth and keeps the plant stylish. Over time, it can reach around one to two metres indoors, forming an attractive vertical feature rather than a spreading mass of stems.
Monstera adansonii originates from Central and South America. It enjoys bright, indirect light and benefits from a humid atmosphere, making it particularly well suited to kitchens and bathrooms. With simple care, it settles in quickly and becomes a reliable long term feature.
