Description

Johnsons Cucamelon Seeds, Grape-sized fruit taste like cucumber with a hint of lime. Plants can be lifted in autumn and kept frost free then replanted in spring for further crops.

For indoor sowingWhen April to In pots of seed Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 20-25°C. Seedlings appear 14-21 Remove cover when seedlings appear. Grow on at approx. 13-15°C. When large enough transplant singly to 7.5cm pots. Stand outside for a few days in May (avoid frosts). Transplant 45cm apart in growing July to October.

Easy to grow climbing plants with masses of small fruit that resemble tiny watermelons and have a fresh flavour, like cucumber with a hint of citrus.
