Description
Sow the seeds indoors between March and May.
Press the very fine seeds onto the surface and dont cover them.
Place in a heated propagator at 20-22c until sprouts appear.
Germination usually takes 10-14 days at the correct temperature.
If germination doesnt occur, cold stratify for 4-6 weeks in a fridge.
When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick them out into pots or trays.
Harden off the young plants gradually before planting outdoors.
Plant out in a partly shaded, wellwatered position after all danger of frost has passed.
Keep soil consistently watered, especially in warm weather.
Remove faded flowers to encourage prolonged blooming.
