Description

The Begonia rex Etna is an indoor plant with dark coloured foliage, separating it from its fellow Rex Begonias. The colours upon each leaf are shown in a sporadic manner, with no leaf showing the exact same design. With the black and red being at the forefront of the plants visual appeal, that makes it easy for the clustered leaf formation to bring this plant to life from all angles. These plants appreciate any partially shaded area in placement, so homes, offices, window sills, bathrooms or other indoor spaces with those light conditions are all suitable. King Begonia, as its more commonly known, can then utilise its air-purifying qualities to ensure a cleaner living environment for all around it by removing harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins. Once a week throughout the year is the level of watering this plant will require, mainly when the soil is dry to touch. This can reduce to once every two weeks in Winter – the plants dormant period.
