Johnsons Cobaea Cathedral Bells Seeds, Exotic looking climber, to cover walls or trellis. Will live for many years if grown in a heated conservatory.
For indoor sowingWhen February to In trays of seed Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant singly to small pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 90cm apart to flowering position. Keep moist and weed July to October, the same year
Large flowers turn from bright green to purple. Stunning in conservatories or to clothe walls, fences and pergolas. Usually grown as an annual.
