700x Turnip Milan Purple Seeds
Turnip Purple Top Milan can be picked while it is a young vegetable and its roughly the size of a radish or a golf ball, or at different stages of development up to tennis ball size. Thinnings can be used as mini-vegetables, and the leaves can be plucked a few at a time and utilised as greens. Baby-vegetable Turnip Purple Top Milan may be roasted in a little olive oil, salt, and herbs for a flavorful and unique side dish, or chopped into smaller pieces.
Growing Instructions:
Sow the Turnip Milan Purple seeds from February to June. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from May to November.
