Description
Huge Hardy Gloxinia for the summer garden, with blooms twice the size of most others. These tropical looking blooms are actually hardy, becoming even more hardy when grown in free-draining soil. Each flower boasts distinct contrasting colours, from yellow-throated white to magenta flowers with a deeper, richer centre that bleeds to yellow further down the throat.
A shade-lover, plant in pots, beds or borders for flower stems stretching high from fern-like foliage, which become thick and strong. Simply deadhead spent blooms to stretch the flowering period even longer.
