Description
Neatly edged by a row of large, round, clear-red petals, the yellow stamens form a thick ring around white-tipped, pale-green carpels. As the stamens age, they flop over to show their red filaments, adding a further ring of colour between the yellow anthers and the carpels. A short neat plant, the flowers are carried on strong stems with shiny, pure green leaves.
