Anemone Frilly Knickers

Description

A low maintenance herbaceous perennial with delicate flowers with subtle Summer colouration. The Anemone ‘Frilly Knickers’ is a boasts bright green foliage consisting of incised or toothed, maple-like foliage with a mounding, clumping habit beneath the upright, slender stems bearing single to semi-double blooms of ruffled white with violet-pink reverse-sides on each petal which tend to bleed through to the white side, providing bright Summer hues.

Plant in moderately moist, fertile, well-drained, humus-rich soils and keep in full or partial sun. Can be planted in most positions but heavy, water retentive soils should be avoided as the plant is intolerant of waterlogging and poor drainage, especially during the Winter months.
