Description
Wild Flower Cowslip Primula Veris
The attractive creamy-yellow fragrant flowers are born on straight stems. Grow in sun or partial shade in good garden soil. Flowers appear in April/May, and they grow to a height of 20cm.
Sow in autumn in a tray on the surface of good quality compost (without sand). Cover with glass until germination takes place – germination may be slow, so be patient! To encourage the seed to break dormancy, it may be frozen and thawed several times by placing in the refrigerator before sowing.
