Description

Andromeda polifolia Blue Ice brings lovely, bell-shaped flowers and blue-green leaves into the garden, adding an array of attractive features. This low-growing dwarf variety bears pink flowerheads that almost cover the plant up. These are surrounded by foliage that helps the plant become a good source of ground cover, whilst also being a favourite of bees and other pollinators. Being an evergreen plant, it will also naturally bring year-round interest to any flower beds, pots or containers.

Andromeda plants prefer to be placed in full sun or partial shade. The soil they are planted in should be peat or sand-based and kept moist, well-drained and watered so the soil is never dry to touch. This should lead to a happy and healthy plant in all seasons.
