Description
An outstanding twining climber with woody stems which are covered with long racemes of wonderfully scented, pea-like, pale violet or violet flowers in May. A magnificent sight in flower. Bees and other insects are particlarly attracted to the flowers. Attractive dark to mid-green leaves which consist of up to 11 leaflets. Can be grown against a wall, up an old tree or trained as a small weeping standard. A grafted plant so will come into flower when young. Height, as climber, up to 30m (100ft).
